Ordinarily Available Provision Launch Sessions

Published: 07 January 2020

Ordinarily Available Provision launch sessions are being held in Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe for schools and their staff. Parent champions will also be there to help launch the event.

These free sessions are open to all Buckinghamshire schools focusing on the identification and supporting children with special educational needs, making reasonable adjustments to ensure they have the best opportunities to progress in their schools.

‘Ordinarily Available Provision’ promotes a consistent ethos to supporting children receiving SEND Support. This approach has been created by schools, professionals and parents and is a fantastic user-friendly, accessible resource for all. It outlines the special educational needs that children may have across the four broad areas, with easy to use provision suggestions for all members of school staff and families alike, as well as strategies for the whole school and quality first teaching.  This session is a real must for all SENCos and any school staff with an interest in supporting children with additional needs to achieve their potential.  Please ensure you book as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of not getting a place!
