The National Museum of Computing (Bletchley Park)

Family days out – with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (stem) activities.

The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) is home to the world's largest collection of working historic computers.

Follow the development of computing: from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, to the rise of personal computing and the rise of mobile computing and the internet. Recognised as one of England’s top 100 ‘irreplaceable places’, we welcome corporate and group visits, schools and individuals from all over the world.

We have plenty to do to unlock imaginations, inspire and entertain. Educational fun for all the family, providing Bytes sized tasters of coding on BBC micros, Sphero robotics,  and retro gaming.

National Museum of Computing Plan Your Visit
Notes

All our passionate and enthusiastic staff and volunteers will do their best to make your visit as enjoyable and informed as possible, but the current situation does mean interaction with many of the working exhibits has to be limited. Due to their age, keeping surfaces free from contamination is not feasible, so regrettably, we need to limited access to both exhibits and areas in order to protect them as well as ensuring the safety of all visitors, staff and volunteers.

We would appreciate it if all visitors wear masks and gloves when in the museum. Some areas are quite narrow so please be patient and try and observe social distancing. Thank you.
