Building Futures works with adults and young people across Buckinghamshire to provide free one-to-one guidance and support to help you choose the right path to training, work experience or a job that works for you.  We can also help with other life-skills and health and well being solutions that will ensure you take control of your life and move forward in a positive way.

If you live in Buckinghamshire, are aged 15 years plus and not currently working you could be eligible for the Building Futures programme.  If you are registering for someone else, you will need his or her permission.

To take part in the programme, you will need to fulfil the following criteria:

• Have the legal right to work in the UK

• Be long term unemployed (12 months or more) or lack opportunities to employment

• Live in Buckinghamshire (excluding MK postcodes)

• Be aged 15 years plus

You will need to provide evidence of the above.

At ToolShed we support young people aged 16 to 24 in their self-development, training, education and employment so that they are able to become positive role models in the community and inspire other young people to take charge of their lives.  

ToolShed offers a free Level 1 Multi-skills qualification in carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, tiling and functional skills in Maths and English.

At Workpays, we offer free courses to help young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) aged 15 to 24 years, get into employment or back into education.
