2HelpUXL Mentoring and Support
What do we offer
2HelpUXL is a community-led mentoring and support organisation which prides itself to ‘Empower, Encourage, Enthuse’ children and young people within the local community through a bespoke engagement model. The purpose of the mentoring initiative is to provide “Supportive, assistance, advocacy or guidance given by one person to another in order to achieve an objective or several objectives over a period of time”.
This innovative sustainable approach involves:
Mentoring and Wellbeing support
Transformation through Nutrition
Community Outreach Programs
We believe in the well-being of Children and Young People and want to create a platform that facilitates in raising; potential, confidence, social interaction, behaviour and academic performance.
Why was 2HelpUXL created
It was created with students, teachers, and parents in mind to:
- To empower the child, young person or family unit to achieve their full potential
- To create an environment that educates, enthuses and innovates the minds of each child and young person.
- Raising confidence and self-esteem, to develop new and existing skills, overcoming any weaknesses and obstacles
- Tackling barriers to learning. To raise the attainment and aspirations of students who have the potential to progress to Higher Education.
- Mentoring will take the form of group settings and 1:1 sessions to suit individuals' preferred needs.
The emotional well-being of children and young people is extremely important and sometimes all they need is someone they can connect with and help support them in various aspects of their lives. We offer 1:1 mentoring to individuals as a form of early intervention and a source of helping to raise potential, social interaction, behaviour and attention along with academic performance and standards.
The aim is to empower, encourage and enthuse individuals who are with the Foster Care and Looked After Children services. The objective of the project is to run a series of sessions in High Wycombe and Aylesbury area over a maximum of a 6-12 week period as either a school holiday or a weekend programme. The programme will not only benefit the child or young person but the carers and families in which they live.
The sessions will look to focus on topics such as:
- Identity – Who Am I?
- Pursuing you goals and dreams
- History and culture
- Confidence and self esteem

We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with the award-winning public speaker Alim Kamara to bring you project STORIE STORIE ‘Motivation through Storytelling’. He has delivered storytelling and inspirational talks and performances to schools and colleges all over the world from Dubai and Holland to The United States of America and Gambia.
This is the perfect seminar to get young people motivated. It does exactly what it means; it empowers, encourages and enthuses children and young people to help them excel to their full potential and become a successful individual. This interactive seminar inspires young people of all ages and abilities to excel in their strengths and work harder in areas they find challenging i.e. exams and studying.
We look at the relationship between determination, goal setting, and success. Through this seminar young people are creatively taught ‘the blueprint of success’ along with simple techniques to stay focused in order to achieve great results and reach career ambitions.
