Our provision provides support services for all families with children aged 0 to 19 years and up to 25 years for those with a SEND.
Our aims are to improve parenting, health and children’s development and to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children, young people and their families to flourish, develop and learn.

- What needs does your service or activity aim to meet for children and young people with SEND and their families?
Encouraging and supporting families to attend the Centre services. To enable parents and children to socialise with other children and families (especially those groups who are hard to reach/engage, Outreach Families. To enable parents to receive signposting, support, advice and encouragement from the Centre and other parents To enable the children to experience different forms of play, creative activities, sensory experiences. Children to develop through experiencing fun, play and learning To enable parents and children to interact with each other and engage in meaningful play. Outreach support in the home for families with particular needs such as the holding hands parenting programme.
- What outcomes does your service or activity aim to achieve for children and young people with SEND and their families?
Parents provided with good information so they can make decisions, which will have a significant effect on their children’s life chances. Parents to know, what support and services are available to help them bring up their children, and how to access them. Families signposted into support as appropriate feel confident to provide good life chance for their children. Children to develop social skills in preparation for starting pre-school, nursery or school. Children to enjoy a variety of fun activities and play and learn through this participation. Parents to feel confident in parenting and picking up parenting skills and support through attendance. Personal, Social and Emotional development. Physical development. Communication and Language development. Outreach support, action plan to specifically help family with individual needs. Emotional and practical support from Outreach Worker.
- How can children and young people with SEND and their families start to use your service or activity?
Families can attend our services and register by completing a Family Centre Membership form. Outreach support can be provided by self-referral or by referral from a health visitor or other professional.
- How is your service or activity fully accessible to children, young people with SEND and their families, for example, facilities, support from staff?
We welcome all families to all of our services, staff are dedicated to supporting families using our centre and its services. Our building is fully compliant with the disability requirements. We provide a warm, welcoming and fun learning environment for children and their families. Large and inviting outdoor play environment. Sensory equipment available during sessions. Disabled toilets.
