IDL is a multi-sensory intervention program that uses sight, sound, touch and voice with repetition to increase spelling and reading abilities. It is individually tailored to each student and promotes independent learning allowing for larger intervention groups. IDL is very simple to use and makes monitoring progress easy for tutors and parents. Schools who currently use IDL have reported that pupils’ reading and spelling ages increase on average by around 11 months after just 26 hours of use. They have also noticed improved confidence and self-esteem, which has transferred into other areas of school life.
Who is it for?
IDL was specifically designed to help those with dyslexia and dyslexic type difficulties but is also being used with EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners, low achievement or as a school wide literacy tool.
There is no age limit to IDL and we offer the intervention to any educational premises as well as home users.
How do I access it?
IDL is a web and cloud based intervention therefore, it can be accessed from any computer, iPad or smartphone with an internet connection.
We offer free seven day trials to schools.
