Chiltern Music Academy is an independent centre of vibrant community music making, our passion is the nurture and support of every developing musician, aged 4-19.

We deliver a complete musical education outside school hours. Our award-winning ensembles include graded Orchestras, Wind and Jazz Bands, Choirs, Recorder Groups and Chamber Music. Four to seven year olds can begin with Springers’ Music Foundation Course and progress to Find Your Forte! (cost-effective beginners’ instrumental teaching.) In addition, instrumental, theory, and musicianship lessons are available.

Cost Description

Membership costs only £80 for each ten week term, (£60 for Micro- and Mini-Springers.) This enables you to participate fully in any CMA group activities for which you are suited.

There will only be additional charges if:

  • You enrol on a course of lessons
  • You choose to take part in a special event
  • You hire an instrument from us
  • You play in selected chamber ensembles
