Social Care for Children and Families has a team of specialist Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who work with sick and disabled children and their families.
They can help you by;
Listening to you and trying to find ways of helping.
Giving information about services available to help you cope with the extra challenges illness and disability can bring.
Supporting you in dealing with other agencies such as Education, Housing, Health.
Assessing the needs of your child and the rest of your family, so that we can consider whether there are services that can help.
Offering advice about financial benefits you may be entitled to.
