Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service
Provide Early Intervention Services (EIS) for people aged between 14 to 65 years old in both Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Professionals in the team come from a range of backgrounds, including doctors, nurses, psychologists and occupational therapists. They work in a range of ways with individuals who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
They can provide support with recovery including psychological well-being, activities, employment, education, physical health, housing, finances and much more.
For young people aged 14 to 18 years old, they work with the individual and their immediate network (including family, schools, colleges and employers) to help them normalise their experiences, pursue their goals and overcome any difficulties experienced as a result of their psychosis.
