Farnham Common Village schools are mainstream two form entry schools with a part-time nursery for children from 3 years old in the Infant school. The two schools are now a Federation with one Headteacher. They are inclusive schools and offer a broad and balanced curriculum for all children.
The schools aim to create an environment that is creative and fun. The infant school is also a Forest school, and all children participate in forest school activities on a regular basis. Both schools place much emphasis on outdoor learning. At the Farnham Common Village Schools, we aim to support all children in their learning and help them to achieve their full potential.
We believe that Quality First teaching is essential to ensure progress but acknowledge that some children will require additional support to achieve this. Work in class is differentiated, and intervention programs are provided for children needing support. Adjustments to the physical environment are made as needed for children with physical disabilities, and individual support is provided when needed usually for children with EHCP Plans.
