Our School Vision

We believe that the best learning happens in an honest nurturing environment which is full of friendship, fun, and laughter and promotes mutual respect, tolerance and understanding.

Everyone, children and adults, in our caring and supportive school community achieves to their full potential and becomes ‘the best they can be’ because they feel valued, listened to and cared for in our safe, secure and inclusive environment.

We believe that all children are individuals and that their true potential and love of learning can be inspired and developed best through high quality teaching taking into account the varied and evolving the needs of the whole child.

We believe that by building self-esteem, independence, resilience and adaptability in the individual we can aim high in all areas of their unique learning journey without restriction so allowing each child to ‘blossom’.

We believe that is our privilege to work together to achieve the highest possible expectations for all our children.

We aim to provide a creative holistic approach to learning which excites and enthuses children through first hand ‘real-life’ experiences promoting curiosity self-evaluation, questioning, imagination, risk taking and team work.

We believe passionately in the power of learning through play - giving time and experiences for all learning styles.

We all work together to inspire and support each other, taking pride in our unique school community.

We aim to build our children’s understanding of themselves as an important part of the wider world by developing responsibility, respect and a love for life through an enriching learning environment both indoors and out.

We believe we should work together with parents, carers, families and the wider community to provide the best level of social, emotional and academic support for all our children.

We value and celebrate diversity and individuality whilst building trust and understanding within a supportive network.

Mission statement:

Nurturing happy, healthy, confident learners in a safe rich learning environment.
