My name is Alexis and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, recently graded ‘Good’ with outstanding elements in my latest inspection, working from my lovely family home in Widmer End.  I live with my husband, my young daughter and son where we have created a loving and child friendly home. I decided to become a childminder because I have a genuine love of children and I take the early years learning and development curriculum seriously. I am passionate about providing a stimulating and fun environment for children to enjoy. I have created a safe, home from home environment where your children can explore and develop at their own pace, while working in partnership with the parents at all times.

I follow the children's interests and provide fun activities for them to try within my home setting, lots of messy play and topical craft activities where they can explore. We attend local toddler groups, soft play areas, parks, National Trust sites, local woodland areas and trips to Odds Farm. I think it’s so important to spend time outdoors when possible. We have a fully enclosed garden with a large sandpit, mud kitchen, Wendy house, bikes and various other ride-on equipment to encourage physical development.
