We provide a range of open-access sessions and universal health services for families with children aged 0 to 19 years (or up to age 25 for those with SEND).
Timetables will be developed to respond to local need, so they may be subject to change. Please check the timetable for more details.
Update 18 December 2020
Due to the ongoing restrictions and the latest government guidance, the Family Support Service will continue to be available for families who need help in the following ways:
-
If you need urgent support and you have a Family Worker, please call them directly. Family Workers will be offering support to new and existing clients as usual. They will agree with you how and where this will take place to make sure it is covid-safe.
-
If you don’t currently have a Family Worker and need some help or advice you can contact the Buckinghamshire Family Information Service on 01296 383 293, or you can make an online request for support.
Family centres are not able to deliver face-to-face group sessions or drop-ins during the current Covid restrictions. Some group activities may be offered on-line and you will be contacted if this is the case. Appointment-only health clinics will continue to run from the family centres.
Appointments can be made for telephone or online advice, and in some cases individual meetings to provide support and guidance. Appointments can be arranged by emailing the family centre plus site or by calling the BFIS duty team. To book an appointment please email:
