The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Museum

Though based in Oxfordshire, Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum is the dedicated museum for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, so Buckinghamshire visitors and families will find they can discover the history of their local regiment.

Walk through a re-creation of a Great War Trench dugout, sit inside a section of a D Day Horsa Glider and learn about the experiences of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire soldiers who were carried into battle on-board, or try your hand at some code breaking in our Secret War exhibit.

Plus, kids can join one of our many museum activity trails, dress up as soldiers and spies and enjoy a wide range of other fun interactive exhibits.
