Parents as First Teachers (PAFT) at King's Wood School
Parents as First Teachers is a parent support programme, offered at no cost to parents of children aged pre-birth to five years. It is delivered by trained project workers, through monthly personal visits and optional group meetings.
Its aim is to give parents the information and support which they need to be their child's best first teacher, so their child can fulfill his/her potential.

Tuesday 5 March - The importance of books and how to help your child learn to read It’s World Book Day! Make a book with your child and find out about the importance of reading with them. Clare Bridgman an early literacy teacher will explain how children learn to read and how you can help.
These are drop-in sessions and you can attend just one session or more
