Childcare Brokerage Service
The Childcare Brokerage Service supports parents with finding suitable childcare for children under 5 years old or up to 25 years with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). This service is free however, the brokerage staff will prioritise cases according to need.
Their specialist brokerage staff can discuss your needs in detail and support by:

Providing individual support, advice and guidance

Discussing the availability of different types of childcare and suggesting alternatives

Discussing the benefits of different childcare settings for you and your child

Contacting childcare providers on your behalf to check for vacancies

Introducing you to childcare providers and arranging visits to their settings to discuss how they can meet your child’s needs

Supporting the childcare provider to access relevant training and advice to successfully include your child
The brokerage service could be helpful for families, parents or carers who:

are worried about approaching childcare providers or schools themselves

are worried about leaving their children with someone new
-
wish to request help if all the settings are full
-
are unable to find a setting to suit their needs

are looking for childcare for those with a Special Educational Need and/or a Disability (SEND)
