Financial help from charities (SEND)

There are a number of charities that can provide financial help if you have a disabled child. Most are based on income, but not all, so it is worth applying. They can help with various things such as: help with the cost of a holiday; provide a washing machine or tumble dryer; provide equipment that your child may need such as a hospital bed; help with driving lessons or make your garden more accessible for your child. If you are asking for something expensive you could ask lots of charities to make a donation towards it. The Family Fund is excellent for families on low income.
