Buckinghamshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan

As the world around us changes, so do our lives. The NHS must also adapt with us to meet current the needs and pressures. Changes such as life expectancy rising, more people living with chronic conditions and advances in medicine and technology are just a few such changes we see today.

The NHS and Local Councils have come together in 44 areas in all of England to develop proposals for heath and care. Each areas has produced a local plan for the next few years. These are called a Sustainability and Transformation Plans, or STPs for short.

Health and care services are under increasing pressure so by working together doctors, nurses and care staff will have the best chance of success. In some areas, the NHS is asking people where best to invest its resources. Here you can find the STP for Buckinghamshire:
