During this COVID-19 Pandemic, it's important children still feel connected to their community. We've developed Word Searches for Buckinghamshire towns with some of the famous places they might remember. We've also created a 'Create your own Word Search' too so you can create a personalise Word Search. Ideas include family member names, favourite animals, TV programmes or places they enjoy. We'd love to see your Word Searches and ideas on our Facebook page.
The Word Searches below are in PDF format, they can be printed, highlighted if you have a PDF reader or you could screen print them and use your phone or tablet's picture editing features to highlight words.

The current situation that we are all living through, is something that as a human being you will probably never face again. A fantastic Time Capsule Activity Pack has been created for you to work through with your family to capture this time and create memories for you to look back on in years to come.
With children at home, there are plenty of opportunities to get creative and have fun, however, many little ones will be missing their friends, families and teachers, as well as the opportunity to show off their creations. Receiving a simple “Well done” can go a long way in giving kids a boost and keeping their spirits up. We don’t think that’s too much to ask, don’t you? That’s why we’ve made the Rainbow Certificate. Here’s what to do:
1. Share your rainbows creations on our Facebook page
Once downloaded, simply print and add your child’s name to the dotted line. If you don’t have a printer, show them electronically. If you're not able to edit documents we have a version without a name that still says that well deserved, well done!
What are all these rainbows?
The rainbow trend started after schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Children across the country are making rainbows and putting them in their windows so other children can spot them while going out for their exercise (once a day is the government’s guideline as of 1 April 2020). Like and follow us on social media, for more information, resources and things to do for families at home.
